KIA World’s Longest Test Drive
Project Overview: In a campaign ambitious enough to win a world record, KIA orchestrated a fleet of 12 Kia Sportages, driven by the public from dealership to dealership some 3291 km across South Africa. MMM was there every step of the way – quite literally driving a vehicle in the record-breaking convoy. We shot stills and video at every stop along the way, converting a KIA Sedona (dubbed ‘Thundervan’) into a mobile post-production suite. Our team cut video and graded photos at 120 km/h to meet the brand’s desire to instantaneously share moments of the incredible 8-day journey with their followers, including 3 polished videos every day. We’re pretty sure our editor must have set some kind of record too.
