Cape Town Cycle Tour 2017
The 40th Cape Town Cycle Tour (previously known as “The Argus”) marked a milestone for the event. The charity aspects of the race were to be highlighted in celebration of 40 years of existance.
MMM were tasked with the production of original content for the promotion of the race, its sponsors, and the charity arm of the event. This content would be disseminated via the race office’s digital channels (social media) and shared with title sponsors.
Two television promotional videos were also produced for airing on DStv SuperSport.
The client’s objective was to highlight the unknown and interesting stories behind the race:
- Interesting riders
- Logistical partners
- Celebrities riding for charities
- Beneficiaries of charity funds raised by the race
- The story of the route
MMM delivered 6 video stories, 2 television promotional inserts and a route film for the event, backed up by documentary style still photographs.
